Canoeing in Creuse

In La Celle Dunoise, you will find a "Sport and Nature" base set in the heart of the village in a very pretty site overhanging the river.
This base is home to two associations which propose to help you enjoy your favorite activities: canoeing-kayaking and mountain biking.
For this latter activity, you should refer to the corresponding page.

It is the "Kayak-Club Marchois" which manages the canoeing and kayaking activities in our district.
This association has about thirty years experience, adheres to the National Organization (F.F.C.K) and has been approved by it as a French Canoeing-Kayaking School since 1982.

It proposes two types of activity:

> a school with licensed monitors (1st and 2nd degrees), all equipment provided :
- individual courses
- training courses for initiation of children and adults, nature-adventures
- improvement training course in spring waters
- canoeing and kayaking day or weekend trips

 > independently : rental of equipment (boats + life jackets + paddles.)
Depending on your level, you will choose the first or the second formula. In all cases, we recommend you a family excursion on the Creuse river from La Celle Dunoise to Fresselines. This discovery of the valley, "au fil de l'eau", is enormously pleasurable (nothing like the traffic jam queues of the Ardeche Gorges !)
